Staff AccountantAdecco is now hiring Staff Accountant for a technology company, and this is your chance to work with them in Glendale! This is a temporary to hire opportunity!Responsibilities - Assisting with general accounting and finance operations, including reviewing, and entering Accounts Payable - Prepare balance sheet schedules and perform a bank reconciliation during month-end close and record related journal entries. - Assist with the preparation of consolidates financial statements during quarterly, and year-end close cycles, and assist with external annual audit. - Process weekly accounts payable batch, including obtaining department approvals. - Review expense reports for compliance, process reimbursements and record accruals. - Develop and document process improvements and be part of continuously strengthening the reporting cycle. - Ensure compliance with company policies, best practices, and GAAP. - Analyze financial information and summarize purposeful financial data. - Interact with company employees to resolve accounting inquiries and issues. - Assist in other ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed.Perks: - Weekly pay starting at $33 per hour. - Competitive benefit options, including medical, dental, vision. - FREE upskilling opportunities through the Aspire AcademyOur Aspire Academy offers 20+ online courses designed to help Adecco candidates and associates gain skills to take your career to the next level - at your own pace. See how we can help you learn the fundamental, leadership, and/or industry-specific skills you need to secure a better future: https://www.adeccousa.com/associate-resource-center/Requirements: - BA/BS degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field required. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role - In depth knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial statements, and basic accounting procedures. - Experience with general ledger functions and month end/year end closing processes. - Experience with NetSuite and Concur - Strong computer skills in MS Suite, especially advances MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP's) required. - SEC and SOX experience a plus.
