  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool. The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience and an active AZ license or compact. Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.
    • Job Requirements
    • Travelers must have 2+ years of current tele experience.
    • COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.
    • Travelers must be able to titrate drips.
    • Must be able to interpret EKGs.
    • Will float between all Tele and MedSurg units and may require floating to ICU, Cardiac Tele as well as other units.
      • Schedule Information
      • Travelers will have a 12 hr shifts schedule, from 7-7.
      • Floating is required to similar or lower acuity units.
      • Floor specific orientation includes 2 days on the floor.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit specifics differ per unit including MedSurg, CV Tele, Tele Neuro, and more with details like bed counts, nurse-to-patient ratios, weekend requirements, shift details, and common diagnosis/types of patients across various units.
        • For Telemetry Units, nurses must be able to interpret EKGs.
        • Floating may occur based on skill level.
          • Additional Details
          • Must be able to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start within 48 hours of offer.
          • Pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation.
          • Required to float to different units mid-shift can happen.
