Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Coding Auditor to review
medical claims and ensure correct coding guidelines are met.
Key Responsibilities
Verify the accuracy and appropriateness of procedure codes based on
services rendered
Review medical documentation to ensure compliance with coding
guidelines specific to outpatient facility coding
Conduct peer reviews and maintain patient confidentiality while
following established guidelines
Required Qualifications
CPC, COC, CCS, ROCC, RHIA, or RHIT Certification with a minimum of
3 years post-certification experience
Minimum of 3 years post-certification experience in Outpatient
Specialty Surgeries and Procedures
Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding and experience reading
operative reports
Chemotherapy/Therapeutic Infusion experience
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
