Job Description:
A company is looking for a Contract Attorney specializing in
Sanctions and Global Trade Compliance for a temporary position.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel and advise on U.S. and international sanctions regimes
Assist in designing and implementing compliance programs and
initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate compliance
efforts
Required Qualifications:
J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one
U.S. state bar
5+ years of attorney experience with U.S. and international
sanctions laws and regulations
Experience in legal judgment and strategic thinking
Experience with export and import compliance issues is
preferred
A mix of both law firm and in-house experience is preferred
