Job Description:
A company is looking for a ProFee Coder / Auditor.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and review client medical records for accurate code
assignment including ICD-10-CM, CPT, ASA codes, and Modifiers
Perform validation audits to ensure coding accuracy
Maintain coding proficiency with a minimum accuracy rate of 95% and
adhere to ethical coding standards
Required Qualifications
Active RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, or CPC certification in good
standing
Five years of experience in physician-based coding and/or
auditing
Knowledge of hospital and billing systems
Experience with anesthesia crosswalk and multiple specialties
preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Record
Systems
