Job Description:This position is responsible for managing
day-to-day operations and ensuring that quality patient care is
provided across multiple EEG departments in a designated geographic
area. This includes developing, managing, and achieving budgetary
and financial objectives, quality improvement initiatives, program
service development, and personnel management for all assigned
locations. The position collaborates closely with providers and
other members of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high value
sub-specialty care.Posting Specifics

hour shifts though we can make adjustments to this
- Location: EEG Department- will lead the EEG group at Lehi
Primary Children's and OP operations for Children's HealthEssential
Functions
- This role is responsible for administering technically accurate
electroencephalogram (EEG) procedures, ensuring technical staff
produces quality EEG recordings, and responsible for the efficient
everyday function of the EEG Department.
- EEG technicians scheduling, coaching, and collecting/organizing
other data pertinent to the interpretation of test results utilized
by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy
disorders.
- Mentor entry level EEG technicians and support the EEG
technician training program as a clinical preceptor and resource to
the EEG Core Curriculum (ASET).
- Performing check-ins with direct reports and participates and
facilitates the assigned EEG departments' continuous
improvement.
- Troubleshoots and cares for all testing equipment, and ensure
supplies are ordered and adequately stocked.
- Works alongside the EEG manager and will assume manager duties
when unavailable.
- Engages in patient satisfaction, participates in, or leads
quality improvement projects, and other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for following and implementing department
protocols, policies, and procedures and for ensuring that adequate
training and EEG Technician competencies are completed.
- All other required duties of a Registered EEG Technician.
- Department specific on call duties may be required.Required
Qualifications
- Current Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist
(R.EEG.T) or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or RQI for Healthcare Providers.
- Licensed in the State of practice if applicable.
- Excellent people skills and proven ability to provide clear
direction to staff regarding assignments, policies, deadlines,
etc.
- Availability to work varying shifts which may include nights,
weekends, and on-call.
- Familiarity with technology including EEG acquisition systems
and Microsoft Office.Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of leadership responsibilities.
- 3+ years of clinical neurodiagnostic experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a health care discipline and/or continuing
education preferred. Education will be verified.
- Dependable and organized.
- Must display attributes of an effective supervisor. This
includes the ability to gain employees' trust and cooperation and
promote a climate of teamwork.
- Demonstrated skills needed to define, measure, and increase
employee productivity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of EEG acquisition hardware and
software.Physical Requirements:Physical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information,
documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able
to assess customer needs.
- Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers,
patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally
communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information,
needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and
delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes
frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information,
etc.
- May have the same physical requirements as those of clinical or
patient care jobs, when the leader takes clinical shifts.
- For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which
requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and

position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon
